• Bullying isn't cool.
• Don't give bullies applause or praise.
• Watching and laughing makes you an accomplice.
• Don't tolerate it.
• Challenge bullies.
• Stand between the victim and the bully - you’re a hero if you do.
• At least say something, like "Grow up!" "That’s not on."
• Give a derisive head shake.
• Give your support and sympathy to the victim.
• It's okay to report bullying.

"Listen, mate, if you're going to carry on like that I'm straight down to the office to report you so back off." It's not narking: you're helping the bully and the bullied.
