What do you do outside of Attitude?

When I’m not speaking in schools, I’m currently studying at Bible college and serving as a youth leader. Next year, I’m hoping to head to university!

What inspired you to join Attitude?

I wanted to be able to make a difference in the lives of young people across Aotearoa and share the messages I wish I had heard when I was their age. I was inspired by the way Attitude creates meaningful conversations, makes a real difference, and shares messages of hope with young people.

What is your background/qualifications?

This year I moved up to Auckland to study. Since I was in high school, I have had a passion for young people and communication. I Graduated highschool last year and am looking to go to university next year.

What’s one thing you hope students take away from your presentations?

More than anything, I hope students leave my presentations knowing that things are going to be okay and that there is always hope. Whatever they might be facing, I want them to know that they aren’t alone and that their story matters. My hope is that every presentation leaves them with a little more hope for their future.

What do you love about working with young people?

I love working with young people because they are the future of Aotearoa, and as a young person myself, I believe it’s so important to invest in this next generation . I love being able to encourage and remind them of their worth, and hopefully make a positive difference in their lives.
